The brain is where the conscious lies. Therefore, the heart of the soul cyborg should have to connect with it for the collaboration to work. The machine connects to the brain by using technology that reads the brain and converts its thoughts into digital data. The information travels though wires that attatch to the head of a conscious being.
This brain-to-machine technology actually originated fom a thoughts visualising machine. At first, this technology was used especially by phsycologists, therapists and other doctors, etc. Not only was the machine used in the medical field, it was also used for purposes such as in courtrooms, police departments, and mor.
Despite all the debates on whether or not the machine should be used by ordinary people, it was eventually decided that it should never be used commercially. The only other people who were allowed use of this technology, after the debate, were professional designers and directors.
Eventually, this machine was picked up and studied by inventors around the globe. The first to fully make use of it was the inventor of the soul cyborg. It is more than just controlling a machine with one's brain - but transferring your brain into a mechanical body.
