Time intervals

I'm far too lazy to come up with each planet's individual worldwide measurement of time, so I'm just writing how it was after the arrival of humans and their influence on each planet's culture.

Planet Earth (R.I.P)
  • Seconds (60 per minute)
  • Minutes (60 per hour)
  • Hours (24 per day)
  • Days (7 per week)
  • Weeks (4-5 per month)
  • Months (12 per year)
  • Years (...yeah. And all the following are measured the same way)

Planet Imest's equivalent to...
  • Seconds - Oket (about 32 BPM, 60 of these per limun)
  • Minutes - Limuns (60 per erlu)
  • Hours - Erlus (24 per one Imesian day)
  • Days - Imesian days (etc...)
  • Weeks - Imesian weeks
  • Months - Imesian months
  • Years - Imesian years

Planet Stawdos' equivalent to...
  • Seconds - Asis (59 BPM, 60 per smina)
  • Minutes - Sminas (60 per ulta, etc.)
  • Hours - Ultas
  • Days - Stawdish days
  • Weeks - Stawdish weeks
  • Months - Stawdish months
  • Years - Stawdish years

Planet Anrakid's equivalent to...
  • Seconds - Toh (about 74 BMP, 60 per adda, etc.)

Comparing dates and times of different planets

It's hard to explain how it works, but here is the best way I can explain...

When you move to a new planet the date & time that you'll be in is entirely different. It's not like moving to a different time zone on Earth, because the times in each country are related and moves at the same rate. 

On planets that behave differently from one another (their rotation and revolution around their sun) their dates will not be related at all. Say, on Imest, it may be New Year's while it's the middle of the year on Anrakid, and the following year in Imest it may be New Year's again, but a completely different day on Anrakid. It seems confusing at first, but the inhabitants of the Piarosar system should be used to this already.

Unfortunately, the complicated nature of comparing the dates and times of different planets will also mean that organising a date to meet someone from a different planet would be challenging. It would only if you had access to some kind of technology (a kind of calculator, maybe) to figure out what date on your companion's planet would match the date of meeting on your own planet, or vice versa.
